I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. My issue is the app opens automatically when  I sign in to my AirMac. How do I stop this? I already removed and reinstalled the app and that did not work.

Hi Anne,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

The simplest way to disable an app from launching on startup is from the Dock.

Right-click on the app and hover over Options in the menu. Apps that are set to open automatically will have a checkmark next to Open at Login. Click that option to uncheck it and disable it from opening.

Hope it will help

Hi Amal,

I tried that 5 times and it never worked. I tried uninstalling and
reinstalling the software but that didn't work either.

Any other suggestions? I have a MAC.

With gratitude,

Anne Bradstreet

Hi there

Please try the steps below and see if that helps:

1. Open System Preferences

2. Go to Users & Groups

3. Click on your account name in the left sidebar

4. Choose the Login Items tab

5. To remove an app, click it and press the minus button

6. If you just don’t want to see the app when it starts, click the Hide box instead.

Hope it will help

Regards

Amal
