How many files can be sent using acrobat reader before reaching limit?

I have Acrobat Pro subscription (Teams) but most of my colleagues only have the free Reader.

These editors occasionally need to send PDFs for review and have recently come up against an error message telling them that they have reached the limit of how many files they can send.

How many files can be shared through Adobe Reader, and where can I find the documentation about this?
