hi there . I have a pdf cataloge that is 100 pages & I would like to be able to do a search for the product's
that I am interested in by using the type of machine ( that is in the cataloge several times , but the parts are all over the place in the cataloge ) I have as the search requirement . so is there a way I can search by using a specific word from the cataloge & then save the results so I don't have to read page by page each time I'm looking for parts specific to my machine ?
thanks

No, not in Reader, at least not with the built-in search tools. It can be possible using a custom-made script, though.
The Advanced Search command in Acrobat does allow you to save the results, but Reader doesn't.

Sorry, that doesn't make sense. There's no such thing as an "Acrobat PDF", only "PDF".
Acrobat is an application by Adobe that can open PDF files, just like Reader, but it can also create them and edit them in various ways, which is why it's not free.
