How to place text I have added into trash

In PDF document I have added my own text to answer questions in the PDF. Later, after saving the pdf I am not able to delete my answers that I added. It seems like previous versions prior to November there was no problem deleting the text that I added by hovering over the text and using the trash can to delete/change what I added. Thank you for any help with this.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to add the text to the PDF file? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

What happens when you try to delete the text from the PDF, do you get any error message? If yes please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity.

Also, make sure you have the latest version (23.06.20380) of the application installed. Go to Help > check for updates and reboot the computer once and see if that helps.

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and check.
