How to stop full-screen view of a PDF (running WIN10)

Hello, everyone,

Maybe I'm the last person on the planet to tackle this issue, but hope this helps someone else.

To start at the end, the Adobe support agent with whom I was working had NO IDEA what I was talking about, and after much research, I finally figured it out myself.

I explained up front that I was running WIN10. The agent kept asking rudimentary questions ("Is it plugged in?" UGH!) such as, "please send me the PDF", and "did you check your screen rez?". I sent a photo of the screen/view completely commandeered by the open PDF file such that I could not "middle-ize" it and work with another document in the window/on the desktop side-by-side. He kept asking me the same, and sorry for this, STUPID questions!

Ok, now the answer... MS forced /defaulted to their own PDF Viewer starting with WIN8!!!  Since I had no frame of reference, and I didn't recognize the "page being turned" icon as Microsoft's, I didn't realize that I didn't even have Adobe Reader installed!!!

Ok, my bad...

However, I expect support agents with such venerable tech giants as Adobe to be fully conversant with situations like this and offer quick, accurate solutions that affect their customers to effectively view PDF files!

Thanks,

GX
