How to transform a text with two vertical columns into one horizontal text

New Here ,
Dec 20, 2017 Dec 20, 2017

My pdf-file consists of two columns and I want them to be arranged horizontally without any columns. I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and I have already achieved that by accidentally typing the required shortcut. Unfortunately, I couldn´t reproduce the shortcut so far and I don´t know the name of this tool. I would be very thankful for any advice!!!Bildschirmfoto 2017-12-20 um 22.52.38.png

Hi Timmbolicious,

What you have mentioned above, if I understand correctly you are willing to merge the columns to in a paragraph? And as you have said that you were able to do that accidentally in Adobe Reader application. But I think there is some confusion, this is practically not possible with the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free app).

You can also drag and stretch the columns edge boundary but that is also not possible without using "Edit" functionality and Adobe Reader doesn't allow you to do that.

You can make the changes but with the help of Adobe Acrobat DC (subscription) using Edit feature under Tools.

Edit images or objects in a PDF, Adobe Acrobat

Regards,

Akanchha

If you are using Mac OS. The shortcut is "cmd+4" to change the view of 2 columns into the view of 1 column
