How to download the free adobe acrobat reader to a new iMac. I can

only enter into one window set of instructions and it says I have

to pay $30/month?? I am trying to again read .pdf files from my

newsletters. How can I get some help with this?

I cannot download adobe acrobat reader w/o paying $30/mon.

====

I got an answer, but it directs me to the same place I started to have

trouble at. Does anyone there think? This is so easy if you provided a

minimum of support??????

Following the link provided below is identical to what I started with.

Mr. John T. Smith apparently responded (per email response), but never

tried it himself. You have to agree to a trial subscription that I do

not want! Is this hard to understand? There is no way past this site

that requires money. I do not want to provide a credit card and then

have to go through the hassle of cancelling to avoid charges for a

service I do not want, never had, and probably never will have.

People: it is called communication, not let's continue to make fools of

our customers.

Adobe Reader is free and you should not be asked to pay. Try the link that Bernd sent, and post here to let us know if if worked or not.

This is a user forum and those of us who post here are trying our best to help you. Somehow you got to the page for the paid version of Acrobat instead of the free Adobe Reader.

I have this issue too. I downloaded the free version and I have to fully unintstall and reinstall in order to get it to work. But this is a repetiive thing and it's very annoying and time consuming when all I need is to read a .pdf. Best solution is to open file with google chrome seeing as Adobe can't seem to fix their bugs.
