Hi gavinmmesserly,

Could you please try the following steps and see if that resolves the issue:

1- Download and run Cleaner tool from here : Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

2- Restart the computer.

3- Download and install Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let me know the results.

Thank You,

Shivam

Hi gavinmmesserly,

Could you please let me know what happens when you try to launch Reader DC?

Do you see any error message?

Which Operating System you have on your machine?

I'm running Windows 10. I don't get an error message at all. The hour glass

appears and then goes away; nothing happens at all. And NOW my Microsoft

edge doesn't even open up properly to view .PDF files. Microsoft Edge

opens, I get a glimpse of it, then it just closes.
