I have adobe reader X1(11.0.11) since 5/16/15, I now cannot get into any pdf file and print Tried to download adobe acrobat reader DC said I have latest version but cannot open any pdf file and print?

Don't expect instant service in a forum frequented mostly by volunteer fellow users.
If you are in Windows -you haven't said- you can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

DC and XI have completely different interfaces. Please confirm your version.
Can you open a PDF?
Is the problem only with printing or is there more?
Please post a screen shot of the error message.
Which printer?
Can you print from other applications?
And (embarrassed to ask): is your printer plugged in and turned on?

Are you opening the pdf's in Reader itself or are you opening them by clicking a link in a web browser?
