I try to download acrobatprodc to mac

Every time it says that I need to close Safari, but I have closed safari 100 times already without being able to download the trial version. I have other free alternatives, but I want the Acrobate version to see if that gives me the choices I need, but now I just tired of NOT finding an ansvwer to my problem. Normally I give up before I have spent 20 hours on solving an issue, but here I am trying again!

1. Quit (don't just close) ALL your apps in dock except the installer and Finder, no matter what they are. Make sure you know the difference between closed and quit.

2. Go into Activity Monitor and kill anything with Safari in the name, or related to any other browser or email app.

3. Try again.
