This morning (10/5) the icon for Adobe reader documents on my laptop changed from the usual old appearance (which as I recall was red with white logo on it, although my memory could well be faulty) to an appearance of a white background, red border, and red Adobe logo in the middle. Is this normal, or is there a problem? Thanks.

With the recent update, the PDF filetype icon also has changed.
Adobe’s general design for the PDF filetype icon has not changed in nearly 10 years. Looking across our product lines and surfaces like web and mobile, the PDF filetype was becoming out of place in modern operating systems. The simpler, flat design was selected to compliment modern operating systems with a uniform design approach that scales across desktop, web, and mobile surfaces.
