Good morning, we are trying to upgrade from Acrobat Pro DC/Acrobat Reader DC 2015 version to 2018 but having some issues. After upgrading a few computers have problems opening PDF files in IE 11. When opening document it comes with following message: "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running please exit and try again. (0:104)." After couple of days spent searching on forums, I did find two working solution (enhanced protected mode and disabling add-on). Unfortunately this solution isn't suitable for us as some internal portals are using 32 add-on. This is clearly a problem with 32-bit add-on, when it is disabled PDF opens in separate Adobe window.
We have tried changing AcroPDF.dll with one from working PC also ran Adobe Cleaner Tool without success. Is there any way to troubleshoot 32-bit add-on or potentially replace other binaries?
Computer OS: Windows 10, 1709 build with latest updates
Acrobat Reader DC: 18.001.20040 (tested as well with 18.011.20055)
Acrobat Pro DC: 18.001.20040
Please advise what to do. Thank you!
