It doesn't save current opened adobe reader file from plugin browser to a network path or mapped drive.

This happens from installation of "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - MUI Update 18.011.20040".

Thank's, Marco.

Hello Marco,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, I can understand that you are not able to save PDF file on a network path using IE plugin, Is that correct?

Hello Marco,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, I can understand that you are not able to save PDF file on a network path using IE plugin, Is that correct?

Try saving the PDF file to a local drive and see if you still get the error message. Are there any group policies which comes to affect after some time into the machine? Like some network policies or do you have a web security which could have an impact on network operations.

You may try whitelisting the network path once and see if this brings any difference:

  • Launch Acrobat.
  • Click Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced) , choose Add Folder path.
  • Try saving the PDF files.

You can also disable the Protected mode once in Adobe Reader for testing purpose and see if the issue is reproducible. To disable the Protected mode, navigate to Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)> Uncheck "Enable Protected mode at startup".

Diable the Plugin once and enable it back and see if it lets you save the PDF files on Network patch.

Is it happening with one specific PDF file or with all the PDF file? And what is the version of the operating system installed?

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
