Image issues with Acrobat DC

New Here ,
Jan 16, 2018 Jan 16, 2018

I created a form with Acrobat DC and included some import image fields. When the form is opened with Reader DC, it will only display .pdf files - no image files such as .jpeg. Is there a way to set up reader to search all files?

Continuous Release Version 20187.009.20050

File Version 10.009.20050.57426

Issue I am having is that users are only given the option of selecting a .pdf file. All other image files are hidden.

When you quoted a version was it your Acrobat version, or the end user’s Acrobat Reader version?

Then it should work. This is a very new feature, less than a year old I think. Before then the answer would have been a clear "you can't".

Have you done your own tests in Reader?

I have tested it. When I click on the image field, it pulls up the browse option but only searches for PDF files. Is there a setting in the full version (that I used to create the form) that I am missing?

LATEST

We told you already. They are not using the latest version of Reader. There's nothing you can do about it on your end. They have to update.
