Hi guys,

For the record, the process described below, is in place for quite some time now. Issues have only appeared this week, and I can't figure out what happened

Context: A pdf Form (with 2 pics/Icon Holders); a "box" app whose content can be displayed/viewed 3 ways: 1)From any authorized Collaborator's IPad; 2)From any authorized Collaborator's Web Browser version; 3)From any authorized Collaborator's desktop version (synched) .

So the process, so far is: (ie) somebody "Offsite" fills in a form, insert 2 Pics in it, rename the form, put it in the box app of their IPAD, in order to be shared with targeted collaborators. Then, authorized collaborators can either watch the completed form, either through their web browser version, or, from their "synched desktop app" version of the Box app(Shortcut like).

Till recently, we were able to watch whatever "filled in form" and their 2 pics inserted there was, from any of those 3 options.

Unfortunately, lately, we faced issues with the displaying of the 2 pics, but only on our Box Desktop  app : Every other data is displayed correctly but the 2 pics (the very same 2 pics visible in the Web browser box app and on the Ipad...

FYI: As mentioned in the title, the " Show large image option is already ticked on" on preferences.

Sorry for the headache

I've no idea what a "box" app is. Are you using Adobe software to view/fill PDFs? I think we may need screen shots to understand your workflow. (PLEASE DON'T TRY TO EMAIL THEM!)

Hi,

a "Box app" is acloud storage app (Drop box like). from that, when some of collaborators are away, they can communicate by "dropping" their forms in that "box". When they do it, it allows other authorized collaborators to be able to either view them from their own corporate IPAD or from their Web browser based app (IE-Goggle Chrome), or even, if they're working in their Office, from their PC thanks to the "synch Folder Box app" (which allows them to view on their PC, print 'em from their PC etc. But lately, the "PC part doesn't want to display inserted pics within the PC's "synch Folder Box app" (even if everything is fine on the Ipad and and the Web based browser app). It seems that, only datas appear now on our "synch Folder Box app". (We do use Adobe Reader to do so, which worked fine till recently)

If you need screenshots, how do you want me to provide 'em ?

Thanks very much for your help/support/guidance.

Thanks, I understand, I think, that the Box app is what moves files around and causes them to be displayed. But it doesn't do the display. So that leads us to - what app does? You mention Chrome. Are you seeing these files in the Chrome window?

To post screen shots just return to the forum and click the Insert Image tool while you are replying.

In fact, datas are displayed on our 3 "options", but the 2 pics only do in : Both Webbrowser's app (Chrome or even IE), but doesn't show anymore on our desktop Box synched app folder. It really seems to be a "desktop folder app displaying issue" (We run on W7 64 bits pro and Adobe Reader XI (11.0.09). The strangest thing is that itworked so beautifully till...recently.

We must be very clear that most web browser apps do not involve Adobe technology. Especially Chrome, which cannot use Reader. If you see this problem in a Chrome window it is nothing to do with your local copy of Reader, or its settings.

Absolutely !We are on the same level on that one (as I said, problems only come from the "desktop version" on our PC, not from any "Web browser solutions" for that matter) ironically, there (Webbrowsers) are the ones whom doesn't involved Adobe techniology and yet works fine. Our problems stands within our PCs display of our pdf forms...

This applies to desktop and PC equally. What app is showing the display on Windows?

FYI : last time our process fully worked was Week 43 (last week of October 2016)

LATEST

Well, it isn't a new update to Reader which did this. You are a version behind, and Reader XI is up to 11.0.18.
