I have been trying to install the Adobe Reader DC to my Mac laptop OS 10.12 16 Gb memory since yesterday but it was installing forever. I had to force quit it several times. Then I downloaded another file but when I installed it, it just says "Waiting for other installations to complete..." and it was like that for 4 hours. So I forced quit it again. Any solution or explanation to this?

Hi Pandagrapher,

As you have shared, that its the other installation that causing interruption. Then you may try few things before installing the set up.

  • Reboot the computer and run the downloaded set up again.
  • If the message appears again, then "Quit" the Acrobat processes from the "Activity Monitor"

Click on Go>Utilities>Activity monitor> Select and Quit the additional Acrobat Installation processes if you see it running in the list.

Check, if the installation of Adobe Reader begins or not
