I need to read this long report for a project and unfortunately the font does not render properly. I checked the fonts in Adobe Reader and installed the two missing ones on my mac, Arial MT and Times New Roman PS. After restarting and opening the file again those two fonts are still missing in the file. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Thanks

Arial and Time New Roman are very common fonts. They should be available on most PCs and Macs. If not so at your Mac, you'll have to install them first. Since those aren't embedded in the PDF, Reader tries to replace them with another font, which might not give you the expected results.

If you have Acrobat available, you can use the Prefligh tool to embed missing fonts in that PDF.
