I have

Adobe Acrobat Reader
Continuous Release
Version 2024.001.20604

Bottom left it says
Convert, edit and e-sign PDF forms & agreements
and a button
Start Free Trial

I have not clicked start free trial
I have been using the app much longer than 7 days

There is a working feature where you click
on an icon that has a tooltip - "Fill in form fields"
This includes a submenu that includes "Type Text"
If I select this then I can click on one of my PDFs and add some text to it and save it.

My questions are:

1. How can I do this? Is this not part of the edit feature that only comes with the trial I have not started yet?
2. Will this feature suddenly go away? When?
3. If I save these PDFs will the text I have inserted always remain or will it potentially suddenly disappear?
4. If I start the trial what will the answer to 3 be?

Thanks,

Andrew
