Hi all,

Is there a way in Adobe Acrobat PDF to force the link / action (open file) to open new file and close existing rather than having the new file open in a new tab?

When you hold down [Ctrl] while clicking a hyperlink, the target will be opened in a separate window. Closing the existing PDF will require scriptings which you can't add with Acrobat Reader but with Acrobat Pro.
