It seems that every time I use reader dc I need to enable scrolling under view > page display. Is there some way to set this as my preferred setting rather than having to manually set it each time I open a document in reader?

This can be set in the Initial View options of the file, but you'll need Acrobat to do it. Reader can't change those properties.

@try67 , do you know whether you can save a PDF's view options in Acrobat (so it always opens up to those settings in Reader)?

Thank you - do you know if there's anyway to set and disable scrolling?

I'm currently testing output from Indesign and finding that switching between continuous /non-continuous settings affects whether scrolling is enabled/disabled. Was just wondering whether these settings can be preset and saved (for a specific file) in Acrobat.

In the Initial View settings you can select either Single Page or Continous View, but you can't disable scrolling entirely.
