  • What is the exact dot version of the application?
  • OS version of the system?
  • Does it work online without any issue? Try to use fill & sign option here:https://cloud.acrobat.com/fillsign 
  • Is it an issue with some particular files or with all files?

I have Adobe Pro Dc , mac os sierra

the link you sent worked. But what about the version on my computer i pay for? That is supposed to work too. All files have that issue

Kindly share following information.

  • Check if Rdrcef.exe is crashing [Activity Monitor(MAC) -> observe PID of AcroCEF/RdrCEF processes, it changes]
    • MAC:
      • Go to Console -> User Diagnostic Reports
      • Share reports name starting with "AcroCEF"/"RdrCEF"
  • If possible, share a video reproducing the problem.
  • Kindly share the contentsof these two locations :
    • Go to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Reader/DC/WebResources/Resource0

User can share logs/dumps/sample files with us via Adobe Send https://cloud.acrobat.com/send or any medium you are comfortable with.
