Latest version Acrobat Rader

I cannot open a pdf document because i dont have the latest version.

When I go to the Acrobat's website to get the latest version I get the message "you have already the latest version installed on your PC".

Still I cannot open the document.

What is going on?

Start Acrobat Reader and use File > Open...
