I normally download the latest update(s) for Adobe Reader from https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/otherversions/ with the (latest) following result shown in attachment #1. The latest version of the reader is 24.003.20054
If I download the reader from the link you provided, I get the following result shown in attachment #2
OS Windows 11 Pro v 24H2 Build(26100.1591).

@i fm34168167: Are you installing it on a single or multiple machines?
If you open this link again: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html, scroll down, check for the table, and focus on column "Release Type. " We have two types, mainly Continues and Optional.
Usually, the continuous update build will be available within a week or two on this link: https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/otherversions/ and it may take more time for optional to be available on this link.
Now, to answer #2 part - In order to install an optional update, your base install should have the previous continuous build installed. Otherwise, there will be that error.
If you are doing deployment for several computers, you may check the resource guide called Acrobat ETK: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/DesktopDeployment/index.html
Let me know if you have more questions.
