Linebreaks causing broken links

I have a PDF file with Web links in it. The links are in a narrow column, so they break across lines. When I view the PDF in Microsoft Edge, the links resolve perfectly. When I view the same PDF in Adobe Acrobat, the links fail because the URLs are getting cut off at the first linebreak.

I don't understand your reply. The PDF already contains links that work fine in another reader. Are you saying I would need to create the links in Adobe Acrobat to make them work correctly in Adobe Reader?

Oh. So I did understand, but I'm surprised. Thanks for confirming, though.

Apologies for testing your patience...  If I buy Adobe Acrobat and create my links there, will the links in the resulting PDF work in other readers or will I just have the same problem in reverse?
