Used to use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC with a University login. I since graduated and that login expired. The Adobe servers caught up and logged me out. Anytime I open a PDF I get this screen where it wants me to log in with my enterprise ID, which I don't have anymore. I cannot close the prompt nor can I ignore it and use the reader. When I first open the reader, I have about 500ms to click the user profle button in the top right and click logout. It begins the process but immediately haults and the Penn State prompt locks me out of everything else. A force quit is required each time to close the program. I uninstalled/reinstalled and also confirmed the permissions are set correctly in the SLStore and Adobe PCD folders to no avail. Send help.

what operating system are you using?
What steps have you tried so far to troubleshoot the current installation in your computer?

Reader is free. You don't need any special login from your university to use it...

I apologize,
from the screenshot that you provided it seems like you're using macOS? which version?
And what version of Reader DC do you have installed?
In any case, you should download the Adobe Acrobat Cleanup and Repair Tool to completely remove old traces of your current version: https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Using the cleanup and repair tool should be good enough, BUT, If the problem persists after applying the Cleanup and Repair Tool method, use the following guidelines to see if more hidden traces are found:

To reinstall Acrobat Reader DC use: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ or here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/
If you had a student / teacher version subscription of Acrobat Pro DC , and you are trying to unlock premium editing features on your desktop or mobile app versions, log in with the appropriate AdobeID that corresponds to that subscription.
