Hello

I have a long pdf and I want to make it password protect.

When someone downloads it he will have to insert a password to open it and the password will be different for different pcs.

Also I 'd like print screen disabled.
Can it be done ? Can you recomment an app ?

To do that you would need a tool that generates multiple encrypted copies of the file. Acrobat can't do it automatically.

For example, you can use this (paid-for) tool I've created: https://www.try67.com/tool/create-encrypted-copies-of-a-pdf-file

If you want a single copy of the file that's limited to specific machines you would need to use DRM protection.

Not possible.

Hi @mokoboko,

You can use Azure information protection to achieve this.

You can encrypt the pdf using Azure Information Protection and you can use Acrobat/Reader to Consume the File.

Here is a reference link for the same:- https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-security-and/using-azure-information-protection-to-...

Note:- Acrobat/Reader supports only consumption of AIP protected PDFs

Regards,

Abhinav Sethi
