MAC OS Reader Re-Install Fails

New Here ,
Jan 29, 2018 Jan 29, 2018

Have a Mac mini running Mac OS 10.13.3.  Previously Adobe Reader DC worked fine.  Attempted to view a PDF file today and the file would never display.  I removed the Adobe Reader App and attempted to reinstall current download "AcroRdr DC_1800920044_MUI" from company website.  File starts to install then I receive the following Window pop up:   Adobe Acrobat Reader - Found a higher version Adobe Acrobat Reader in the installation location.  Installation will terminate."  Cannot find any additional copies on drive.  Need help.

It would be helpful to get some company help besides moving the question to another part of the forums.

Since there is no real technical support for this product other than "Forums" and waiting for some user to come along to help, close this item as unneeded.  Other apps provide support.  With the high costs that your company demands for all products, unless a customer is a company, then the individual user must be a heavy user to justify the prices.  There are too many other companies with same type apps then Adobe.

Your point is difficult to understand. This is the Acrobat Reader forum. Acrobat Reader is free. Some products have high prices, but that is not one of them.
