MacOS 11.6. Tried to install Acrobat reader, and the installation process got stuck at 3/4 of running package script and pretty much froze the system. Had to use terminal command to shutdown. Wonder if this is a known issue in this community.

Hi @matias2718

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description the installation got stuck in between. This is not a common issue that users facing. However, you can try few troubleshooting steps mentioned below:

1. Run Acrobat cleaner tool: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

2. Manually remove all the Adobe folders. Here is a help document to find Adobe folder locations: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/delete-previously-installed-application-files.html

3. Try reinstalling the application: https://get.adobe.com/reader

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh
