We have been trying to embed pdf-reader into Chrome, Edge and IE - and have noticed a problem with the ActiveX-plugin (15.23.20053.211670) and IE11 (is at least happening on windows 10).
The ActiveX-plugin (and/or Adobe Acrobat DC) is not getting closed from IE, when src-adress is changed on an iFrame. This leads to alot of processes named "Adobe RdrCEF" in the taskmanager. Processes are keeping getting spawn'ed until a warning appears with the warning "too many open documents".
A reload of the page causes a huge delay and after the delay the processes disappear.
Issue can be reproduced by having a simple html file with an iframe and change the src on the iFrame with a JavaScript without reloading the webpage.
Please let me know if you know any fixes for this behavior.
Kind Regards
Asger Stig Holten
