Merging PDF keeps on opening online version

I Opened my PDF files in the desktop app but when trying to merge them it goes to a the online version . How can i default it to Merge the PDF to use the app instead of the online version

Use Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro.

We are using Acrbat PRO DC - but i think it is linken to Creative cloud
