my adobe acrobat reader DC won't update. windows 10/Lenovo/ multiple uninstalls and reinstalls/ repaired x2. what is the problem?

What version do you have exactly?

The version I have currently is : 15.020.20039. The history to this version is 2months ago my icon to adobe DC started to look for updates more slowly BUT still updated to version 15.020.20053. then my updating became intensely slow and not functional, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. I read tips for the problem, followed them, no luck. So after 2 months I tried support. There is no phone support for my product. And now here I, we are. Should I try a different product for my windows 10 OS? I've done multiple full scans, nothing pops up as a problem. So any thoughts anyone?

Further note when I reinstall, the reinstall defaults to version 15.020.20039 and then will not update.

2015.020.20039 is considered the current version. The previous version was 2015.017.20050. Updates here Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows
