Good day everyone, I have a problem, it turns out that I was looking for a PDF in my file folder and ALL were deleted, they appear in the history of recently opened files, but when I want to open them it tells me that it is not available and it is deleted of the history. Help! I really want to recover them. I must mention that they are not in the recycling bin, because I never deleted them, they just disappeared.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Are you absolutely sure they were in that folder? Was it a folder on your computer or was it a folder in the cloud? Reader does not delete pdf files either way. If they were in a folder on your computer, your best to ask in a forum for your OS.

Yes, look friend, a week ago the Adobe Reader application was erased suddenly, I installed it again and everything worked correctly, only until yesterday that I wanted to open an "old" file I noticed that all the PDFs downloaded before the sudden disappearance of the application had been removed from my computer, but still appear in the history. And yes, thanks, I'm also asking in the Windows forum.
Starting today I will begin to make backups in the cloud...

You may be looking for a single cause of the vanishing app and vanishing files. And who know what other things have gone...

I think Test Screen Name is on to something. Neither the application nor the files should just go away. Not without help. Even if you removed the application yourself, the files would not be erased. They would still be there (although they wouldn't have the Reader icon any more until you reinstall Reader).
