Need to re-enter Adobe password on each start?

New Here ,

I'm using Acrobat Reader DC and am logged in to my Adobe Account - on each single start of the app (also when doing so by opening a PDF file), I am requested to re-enter my password, and cannot even close the window requesting me to do so. Is there any setting I miss, to store the password permanently?
