Hello,
I'm encountering a pretty strange behaviour that I cannot figure out myself, and i was hoping that someone has an idea about where to look.
So, our Adobe Reader is set up in a way that upon saving a pdf, the "new" online storage dialogue appears. We need that dialogue as it's behaviour works better with some 3rd party apps we're using which are using OLE Calls opon opening PDF's for instance. At the same time, as we don't want users to use other cloud services as GDrive, Onedrive,.. we have disabled these third party cloud connectors via the customization wizard.
The thing I am experiencing is that when we use Adobe Reader DC in certian, more "common" languages such as English, French, German, Italian,.. the online storage dialogue is displayed correctly upon saving a PDF (eg after editing it):
However, if we use Adobe Reader in other languages, such as Slowenian, Croatian, Hungarian .. upon saving a PDF (eg after editing it), the online storage dialogue never appears. Instead, the "old" save dialogue appears instead of the document cloud one:
The strangest thing is: Just by switching the language in Reader DC causes this behaviour, while all the Settings (eg from the first two screenshots) stay exactly the same. I doubled checked the settings (even though it was hard), and i just can't find a difference, except for the language. We roll out Adobe Reader in a way that all supported languages are installed, and Adobe picks up the language depending on your OS language, but users can switch languages if they want to from the settings.
Does anyone have an idea what may cause that the online storage dialogue doesn't appear on certain languages? I can reproduce it on my machine just by switching languages, or "fix it" by changing the language back to German or English. I'm really clueless about where to look...
Every tip I can get is very much appreciated! We are using the Adobe Reader continious release, version 2019.008.20080 at the moment.
Thank you very much and best regards
Ilker

Wow, thank you for the fast response! The tier was very helpful. I went on and double checked all the "supported" and "not supported" languages, and the dialogue only appears for the supported languages.
I guess my workmates will have to stick to English for now then.
Again, thank you very much!
