Open PDF in Acrobat from SharePoint 365

We need to be able to open files from SharePoint 365 in Acrobat DC.

I had it working so it would open in Adobe in browser (document cloud) and clicking on Open in the Desktop App button would open it in Acrobat.  Though not preferred, it would be acceptable.  It worked for a day, now we are getting "There was an error opening this document. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."  when Acrobat opens.

Any ideas on how do I get this working?

Thanks,

PJ

Hello @PJ-9520

I hope you're doing great.

As per my understanding, Opening any Sharepoint files through links will always open in the web browser. This is a default feature for all and not just Acrobat Reader.

For more information on Acrobat Reader, you can refer to this article: -

I hope it helps.
