For the past two wks "none" of my PDF attached email files will open on my mac book. No settings were changed. I can however open the same attached files from my iPhone... this is the message I am getting for downloads: (I am copy pasting it), surely I can't be the only one? Will this be fixed? What is going on? I changed the "doc name (numbers) for security, otherwise this is "exactly" what pops up in a yellow background message on my laptop (MacBook Pro 16" I believe 2019 which updates with all my Adobe products on its own. I am seriously regretting whatever you all did last, can't open a single file)
Adobe Acrobat could not open '20220801125459.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then choose Save as Adobe PDF from the PDF dropdown in the Print dialog. (I have no clue what it means to go to the "Sources Application" as nothing even downloads, other than this msg. and I am not by any means literate in the field of Acrobat/Adobe tech .

The chances are something else changed. Please pick a PDF with no sensitive or personal info, with this problem (check it) and post it for us to take a look. If you don't have a non-personal PDF, then just make one and send it to yourself.
