PDF Files not showing content when saved to computer

New Here ,
Feb 21, 2025 Feb 21, 2025

I have saved a adobe PDF file in my computer, but when I open the file Explorer it say the your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document. However, the form just open fine with Adobe reader. I'm not sure if I upload the file to the specific location will it open with actual content or will it give the same error. Because it's an important form

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi @ayesha_6050,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in, and sorry for the delayed response.

From the screenshot, it looks like you are working with a government or medical form. Is it correct?

If yes, such files would require the Acrobat Pro/ Reader desktop application on the device to be viewed or filled.

Due to its architecture, the file cannot be viewed on a web browser, but if the user has Acrobat (Pro or Reader) installed, viewing the file shouldn't be an issue.

Hope this clarifies your question.

Regards,
Souvik.
