PDF font changed automatically with my new computer

New Here ,

It confused me for a while when I upgrade my PDF reader to Acrobat Reader DC (now it's version 2017.009.20044).

Some of my previous PDF files (converted from PowerPoint or Word) show font changed (as below).

I've tried several ways, such as checked and uncheck the box "using local font", change "never" use PDF/A mode...etc. but didn't work.

But the document shows normally when I try to use 3rd party software such as "Foxit reader".

How can I fix it with my Acrobat Reader?

When you create the pdf files, be sure and embed the font information. Reader isn't that great at substituting fonts.

Hi graffiti,

Most of those pdf files was not created by me. And it looks fine with my other colleagues' computer.

So I'm wondering if there's any font I didn't installed?

Or, any one can identify this font. So I can figure out if I can just remove it to prevent it shows incorrectly.

Many thanks.
