PDF form not being read only in Acrobat Reader

I'm looking to see if there is a fix to a problem with a form that needs to be signed but multiple people (3). When you use the fill and sign option after sending the form all of the date fields are locked or not functional. The next two signers are not able to edit the form to add a date. Both people have Acrobat reader only.

Is it possible not to have the form go read-only automatically after signing?

Good Morning:

I didn't want to use adobe sign because we have a large and diverse workforce that could use this form and might be too technical for some users.

I have Adobe Pro, but some users may be using just Adobe Reader. Once I use the fill and sign option, it locks the form off.

This is correct. When you use Fill & Sign and sign the form it will locks the form.

Add signature fields to the form and use Tools > Certificates.

The problem with this way is individual people need to create a digital signature. We have to stay away from that due to the lack of knowledge of people using this form.

People using this form can range from novice to experienced, so I need to set up a simple form. For this form, it could get read-only, but the following two signers need to add a date when they signed visibly.

I like the fill and sign feature. It is simple and easy to use, it just turns the document into a read-only, and I had date boxes that are no longer editable.

I don't need the security of changing this form to read-only.

The end-users don't need to add the signature fields themselves (they can't do it if they have Reader). You need to do it for them when creating the file. They just need to click and sign them.

PS. Do not reply by email as it includes your full contact details in the signature and posts them to this public forum, which is probably not a good idea...
