PDF forms display Password Protected after uploading to Sharepoint

Hello All, I am a SharePoint Portal Admin, and have recently experienced an issue where any fillable PDF forms that get uploaded to Sharepoint suddenly say they are password protected. I can find no setting within the SharePoint environment that deals with this. The issue occurs using either Mozilla or IE 11. We can send the same form to a shared drive on the network and it opens just fine. Uploading it to the Portal however, allows it to be opened once, then everyone else (including the owner of the form) gets a pop up requesting a password. There is no security set on the form or the library it rests in.

Has anyone out there experienced this, and is there a fix?

Chad

I have no experience of this, but are you able to share a screen shot showing the pasword prompt (in context). Seeing the prompt may trigger someone's experiences.

Excellent idea, here is an example:

This is a form I opened successfully one time, then tried again immediately and received this.
