pdf Pages printing as two pages

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Macbook Pro, and am having a confusing problem trying to print out pdf pages....

For some reason that I do not understand, my pages are being split into two pages for s single page whenever I try to print them out, and when I switch to Multiple Pages, they print on the same page, but are very small. I have not been able to rescale them to be large enough to be readable, and am hoping for advice.
