Hello,
I have a problem when using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for viewing and printing a pdf file generated with LaTeX. The difference is shown on pictures "pdf on screen.png" and "pdf printed.png" : a blue line is added to the graph...
I would have liked to provide a full set of file for running a minimal building example, but the format is unfortunatelly not supported... I can provided by any other working method if required.
Please find at least attached "main_test.pdf", which should renders differently on screen and printed, and the log file of the compilation of the document.
Hope this can help improve Adobe Acrobat Reader!

Hi there,
I hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out.
I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end and printed the file without any problems.
Could you please provide the following details for further clarity:
Please ensure that you have updated Acrobat to the latest version (24.02.20933) by going to Help > Check for Updates. After updating, please reboot your computer. Additionally, check for any pending or missing updates for your printer driver and firmware, and update them if necessary.
You can also try printing the PDF as an image to see if that resolves the issue. To do this, go to Print > Advanced > Print as Image.
For more troubleshooting tips, please visit the following help page: Troubleshoot PDF Printing | Acrobat & Reader
Let us know how it goes.

Hello @Amal. ,
First, thank you a lot for your answer.
From what you say, it would indicate that the problem comes from my printer and its firmware...
Anyway:
Definitelly, it tends to prove that the issue comes from the printer. It is a Ricoh IM C4500.
I will ask our IT department to check if the firmwares are up to date, and let you know if an update helps on the issue...
Once again, thank you very much for taking time to answer my post!

Hi there,
We are glad to hear that the printing as image, worked for you.
Do check with the IT team that the printers firmware and driver is up to date as well.
Also, marking a reply or response “Correct” will help future users with the same issue quickly identify the correct answer.
