How can I do a free word count for an Acrobat DC document that I created. It is impossible to download Abracadabra, so I need anothyer suggestion. Thanks.

hi -

I have now been able to download abc tools for Acrobat Reader, but when I click on 'compteur mots' , dialogue box asks me to download the relevent pdf files into a javascript subfolder of Acrobat.
There appears to be no such folder unless I pay for Javascript as an add-on, which I'm not wanting to do. Is there another way?

JavaScript is not an add-on. JavaScript is not something you pay for. However, you might have to create the required folder.
