Pinch-to-Zoom Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Using my new Acer Swift 5 reading documents wie the reader I am not able to zoom in or out via the touchpad and the gestures. I searched on the Internet for help. Though I found some questions addressing the same topic there was never a sufficient that solved the problem.

I already rebooted the notebook, reinstalled the programme, reseted the setting in Adobe Reader DC. Nothing helped.

Since the problem only occurs in Adobe Reader (Firefox, Word etc. it works everywhere else perfectly fine!) I was hoping there is a special setting or special feature I did not consider yet. Though the pinch-to-zoom function is nothing special anymore which should be available easily I hope you can help me out.

Thanks a lot,

Philipp

Hi Philipp,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Are you still facing this issue? If yes, try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Reboot the machine if you haven't already and check if that resolves the issue.

2- If that doesn't work, try disabling and enabling touchpad gesture and see if that helps.

For ex, in Windows 10, right-click start menu > settings > devices > mouse > additional mouse options > click to change touchpad settings, reboot the machine and try again.

3- If step 2 doesn't work, remove Reader using Cleaner tool found here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs , restart the computer, reinstall Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution , reboot the machine and check.

Thanks,

Shivam
