I am a First Aid Instructor and when I put up the Red Cross presentation, there is a double vision appearance to the text on each page. Very frustrating. I operate on a Macbook Pro. Today I deleted Adobe Reader, then installed Adobe Reader DC in hopes this would fix the problem. Unfortunately it is still happening.
My husband uses the exact same presentation on his PC and the double vision effect only appears for a second upon opening the slides, then clears up.
What can I do?

Hi muriels9064748,
Please check the rendering options provided under the Adobe Acrobat Reader Preferences.
Navigate to Preferences > Page display > Rendering.
Select "For Laptop/LCD screens" in the drop-down list for 'Smooth text".
Make sure you click "OK" to save any changes you made and then relaunch the application.
Let us know it this helps.
Regards,
Meenakshi

Good morning. I really appreciate your rapid response. I went into my preferences and all these setting were in place. Is there something else you can suggest?

Hi muriels9064748,
You may try once to reset the preferences. Refer the steps provided in this thread: How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.
If you still experience the issue, please share the screenshot of the page where the words appear like double vision.
Could you please confirm the dot version of Adobe application you are using.
What is the OS version installed your Macbook Pro?
Are you experiencing this issue with this particular file?
If yes, is it possible that you can share that file with us?
Regards,
Meenakshi
