Hello!
I am using a free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I have recently been receving a pop up message when I open a pdf. An assistive technology like a screen reader may be running on your machine. This untagged 5- page document must be prepared for reading with assistive technology. if you are not using an assistive technology, check the "don not show this dialog again" box below.
(see screenshot for options it gives)
I haven't downloaded or changed anything. I did open a pdf that work sent me that you were able to type into, so maybe that was what changed it.
I am concerned it may be spam, I don't want to select a option as I don't understand what it is about! Or what it will change if I do select something.
I am not very computer savy, so came here for help!
P.S I was directed to these forums and to make an account, is it free to have this adobe ID? I don't have a adobe account.
Thank you 🙂
I had this message appear a few times and started disabling processes until I found an answer.
In Windows 10, the 'Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel' appears to trigger this message. I killed the process in the task manager and it stops giving the warning. Clicking on the touch keyboard button on the taskbar first restarts the service and acrobat starts giving the warning again.

I'm getting the same thing, is this malware?

I'm experiencing the same problem. I haven't installed anything (at least not on my own will), so I'm afraid this might be sign of malware! Is it possible to determine which process is triggering this behavior on Acrobat?
