Foxit Reader has a useful feature that prevents bookmarks from changing the pre-defined zoom level:
Whenever I change pages via bookmarks, my zoom level changes, why?
My question is - does something similar exist in the Acrobat Reader?
If not, are there plans to implement this at some point?
Many thanks!

The author of the file can decide to do that by setting the zoom level associated with the bookmarks to "Inherit Zoom". The user can't override their selection, unless they edit the file (which can't be done in the free Reader).

Ok, so to the answer is "no" for the free version.
Are there plans to add this option at some point?

I will guess that this free program will not have edit functions added, or there would be no reason to buy the full program
