I have used Adobe acrobat for years but since recently it doesn't work properly. It is often/always not responding. I notice at the top it says this is Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) and other programs I have that are 64-bit don't work well either like Corel PaintShop Pro 64-bit. I have a feeling this has started after a recent upgrade but can't be sure. I can open the program ok but when I click on a file in the recent list I get the small hourglass and the program says it isn't responding. Sometimes a window opens and says it is checking something online, this never used to happen. Can anyone help explain what is going wrong? All I want to do is read PDF type docs and sometimes edit and sign a lease agreement.
The window says contacting HTTP................

surprised no one from Adobe has an answer to this problem. I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it. Sometimes a window opens up and it says contacting OCSP.digicert.com for OCSP revocation checking, press esc to cancel. This never used to happen either. It seems like a lot of people have problems with Acrobat crashing or not responding. Why are Adobe not dealing with this?

still having the same problem and really disappointed that no one from adobe can suggest a solution. I'm thinking it might be due to the version I'm using being 64bit as I've found other 64bit programs difficult to use like Corel PaintShop Pro whereas 32 bit ones work fine. My laptop also has Acrobat Reader and it works fine on there with Windows 11 but this PC is Wndows 10 could that be something to do with it?
