problems with pdf forms

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version 2015.003.20056) and keep having two problems.  I cannot seem to save pdf files downloaded from the internet (reliable sources that I've used many times before) or using the highlighting function on existing pdf file texts (each time, the program crashes).  Any ideas? thanks

Hi,

Please update Reader to the latest version from Help>Check for Updates and confirm the Reader version from Help>About Acrobat Reader DC. The latest version is 2017.009.20044
