Bonjour,

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.
This type of error occurs due to bad installation. Please go to Help -> Repair Installation and Restart your machine and try opening the document again and check.
Also, please go through the correct answers marked in the similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/acrobat-reader-dc-quot-there-was-an-error-... and see if that helps

Bonjour,

Hi there
We are sorry to hear that.
Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
Also, please share the PDF file in question with us so that we can check it at our end https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html
Also, try to turn off the protected mode for testing (Win Only) go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable protected mode at startup' Turn off the protected mode and uncheck 'Enhanced Security > Click OK and reboot the computer once.
Note: Please turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risk.

Amal

Hi there,
I tried to open the PSF file that you have shared and its working fine. As described it working fine on another computer as well on your side.
Please try to remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and check.

Bonjour,
Merci
